Pastor Wooden Stands Firm on the Rainbow: “We’re Reclaiming What God Created” - What Are Your Thoughts?

Pastor Patrick Wooden isn’t backing down. After hanging a rainbow flag on the altar inside his church, the phone calls started rolling in. But he’s not moved.

In a recent sermon, Pastor Wooden boldly explained that the rainbow has always belonged to God. “The rainbow is not about pride—it’s about promise,” he declared. “God Himself placed it in the sky after the flood as a sign of His covenant with mankind.”

For the last few years, Pastor Wooden and his congregation have dedicated 30 days to reclaiming the rainbow—a mission to restore its original, biblical meaning. Despite criticism and pressure to take the flag down, he stands firm.

“The church is weak because we let people take things and redefine us,” he said. “We will not surrender what God has given.”

One thing is clear—at his church, the rainbow still means what God intended.
