If you’ve ever sat in one of Elder David Bratton’s music conferences, then you’ve likely heard him tell the story behind “Every Praise”—how God gave him that song and how it has touched lives around the world. It almost sounds unreal, but countless testimonies have poured in about the miracles connected to that song.
Well, here’s another one to add to the list.
Remember the 9-year-old boy in Georgia who was kidnapped while being raised by his godmother? Instead of panicking, that young boy began to sing “Every Praise”—nonstop. He sang it so much that his kidnappers became irritated and eventually let him go unharmed.
I know Elder Bratton will rejoice when he hears this. Yet again, the power of a worship song proves that God can use anything—even a melody—to deliver and protect His people.
Every praise really does belong to our God!
