So listen, I don’t know how I ended up peeking in on Bishop Thomas Weeks III—yes, Juanita Bynum’s ex-husband—but baby, the real plot twist is I ended up discovering his father, Apostle Thomas Wesley Weeks Sr., and whew, sir is a whole vibe.

Have you ever unexpectedly stumbled on someone online who stopped you in your scroll? Now y’all already know the rabbit holes the internet will take you down. But let me tell you something—when I stumbled across Apostle Weeks Sr., I had to stop and just observe. Tall, regal, distinguished… and can we talk about that salt-and-pepper? Whew! Saints, y’all didn’t tell me the original Bishop Weeks was this fine!

And not only is he a striking man of God, but he and his wife seem to be out here living life—traveling, smiling, enjoying each other, and minding their sanctified business. You love to see it. There’s a calm strength about him. 

That old-school apostolic fire mixed with “I’m seasoned and I’ve seen some things” confidence. Honestly, it’s giving kingdom grown and sexy.

Now Bishop Weeks III, no shade—you’ve had your share of headlines and moments. But sir, your dad is out here giving bishop goals. Apostle Weeks Sr. is aging like fine communion wine, and I’m not mad at it.

Let’s normalize celebrating the older generation who are still standing strong in their calling—and still looking good doing it. Apostle, we see you! Keep shining, living, and serving.
