Let me just say this — in a world that is constantly trying to sell our kids filters, fake standards, and “fixes” for what was never broken, I love when someone in leadership sends a simple reminder: you are already enough.
When I hear President Trump talk about strength, pride, and standing tall in who you are, I can’t help but connect it back to God’s truth. The Bible says in Psalm 139:14 — “I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” That’s not just a verse, that’s a lifestyle!
See, the culture today wants to convince our youth that they have to reinvent themselves to be accepted. Dye this, cut that, change this, hide that. But honey, when God formed you, He wasn’t confused. He didn’t stutter. He didn’t need a second draft. You were His masterpiece the first time around.
Now, let’s keep it real. Not everyone will clap for you when you live boldly in your God-given identity. The enemy would rather you stay insecure, quiet, and distracted. But real confidence isn’t built on likes and followers — it’s built on knowing WHOSE you are.
That’s why I appreciate when leaders affirm that message to our youth: Stand tall. Be proud of who you are. You are perfect the way God made you. Because confidence rooted in Christ? That’s unshakable.
So to every young person reading this — don’t let the world tell you you’re “too much” or “not enough.” You are just right. And to the parents out here raising the next generation?
Keep speaking life into them. Because when we raise confident kids, we raise kingdom shakers.
